  • Vertical & horizontal tilting GDC machines
  • Weight range: 50 g to 40 kg
  • Alloys: LM-4, LM-6, LM-9, LM-24, LM-25
  • Hydraulic & electric powerpack machines
  • Full simulation before production
⚙️

Aluminium High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC)

Aluminium die casting via high pressure (HPDC) enables thin-wall, high-volume production with tight dimensional tolerances. Suitable for automotive, power tools, electrical and pump-industry components.

  • Alloys: ADC-10, ADC-12, Zinc alloys
  • Tight tolerances & thin walls
  • High repeatability for mass production
  • Die design using NX / UniGraphics CAD
  • Post-cast shot blasting & deburring
🔧

Precision Machined Aluminium Components

As a full-service aluminum die casting manufacturer, we deliver fully machined, surface-treated and assembly-ready components — eliminating the need for multiple suppliers.

  • VMC / HMC CNC machining
  • Shot blasting, heat treatment
  • Anodising, powder coating, zinc plating
  • Assembled sub-component supply
  • Final inspection to customer drawings
How We Work

Our Manufacturing Process

From concept to dispatch, every aluminium gravity die casting and pressure die casting passes through a rigorous, simulation-backed production workflow.

01

Tool & Die Design

NX / UniGraphics CAD + mould flow simulation before cutting steel.

02

Alloy Preparation

Premium LM-series & ADC alloys melted in controlled diesel/oil furnaces.

03

Casting

GDC or HPDC process executed on dedicated hydraulic / electric machines.

04

Machining

CNC VMC/HMC operations for tight-tolerance, fully finished surfaces.

05

What is Aluminium Gravity Die Casting?

Aluminium gravity die casting (GDC) is a permanent-mould casting process in which molten aluminium alloy is poured into a pre-heated steel die under gravity. Unlike sand casting, the reusable steel die produces excellent surface finish and dimensional consistency from the very first shot. The result is a dense, low-porosity casting with superior mechanical properties — ideal for medium-to-high volume production runs across pump, motor, automotive and power-tool industries.

At Akshay Castings, our aluminium gravity die casting capability spans vertical and horizontal tilting machines with hydraulic powerpack systems, supported by diesel-fired and electrical melting furnaces ranging from 150 kg to 500 kg capacity. We produce castings from just 50 grams to 40 kilograms in alloys including LM-4, LM-6, LM-9, LM-24 and LM-25.

Aluminium Die Casting vs Gravity Die Casting

The term aluminium die casting broadly covers both gravity (GDC) and high-pressure (HPDC) permanent-mould processes. While gravity die casting relies on molten metal flowing under gravitational force, High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) injects the melt at pressures up to 1,000 bar — enabling thinner walls, tighter tolerances and faster cycle times for mass production.

Akshay Castings offers both routes, selecting the optimal process based on wall thickness, volume, mechanical requirements and your target per-piece cost. Our engineering team will advise during the quotation stage.

Choosing an Aluminum Die Casting Manufacturer

Selecting the right aluminum die casting manufacturer depends on more than price alone. Key considerations include: in-house tooling capability, alloy range, quality certification (ISO 9001:2015), post-cast machining, surface treatment options, and export compliance experience.

Akshay Castings ticks every box. With integrated toolmaking using NX/UniGraphics, a broad alloy portfolio, certified quality systems and a 20-country export track record, we deliver castings that meet or exceed global OEM standards — on time and within budget.
